MCDU screen for Airbus

Dear Vlad,

I'm in the process of getting my MCDU ready for Airbus. The buttons via the matrix command work fine, but I have no signal for the screen. With Sim Vim Panel it works with the Boing 737 but not with the Airbus. Is there an adapted software or how should I proceed.

Hi Roman,

Currently, the display parameters for SimVimPanel only read the default X-Plane FMS lines or the custom lines for Zibo B737 if it is loaded. If your Airbus uses its own custom datarefs for FMS, then the plugin will need to be programmed to read those as well.

However, we''ve programmed our FMS datarefs for SimVimPanel in such a way that they can be overriden and written by external scripts (for example, if someone would want to make a LUA script for a custom aircraft to write its FMS data to our FMS dataref to use with SimVimPanel). We'll write a guide on how to fill our FMS dataref with the correct format, so if you're familiar with programming for X-Plane, you'll be able to fill the dataref yourself.
