I would like to use the encoder pushbutton switch to switch between MHZ and Hz, same would apply to NAV, ADF andXPND, this would make the dual encoders obsolete,  I understand from the web site that this is possible. But the shift is from Mhz to Hz but not back if i press the button again.

Mike,
Please open the ADF section, find and read this: "If you have one encoder knob, the "push" function switches it between entering modes ( ones, tens and hundreds)."

Click on the knob and select the "Push/Pull" option.

The same is for all other radios (Com/Nav)..
The "Radio_Pull" you can use is only for related section, the Combo radio.

1) Open Com/Nav section as example, select a device (generic)
2) Assign the Outer knob to your encoder. Don't assign the Inner!
3) Assign the Push action to the button switch. There are two options - either momentary switch action or push-hold.

That's all. Your encoder will change Mhz. When you press a button the encoder will change Khz.

Just try, you will see how it works.

Use ANY encoder. The detents type and acceleration (or no acceleration) you should set in the plugin's "Input Options" menu.
