Hi Vlad

I know other have posted similar but I didn't see a reply. I want to control the Zibo 737 throttles and speed brake using servos and or steppers. Is this possible using SimVimX?

I am building the motorised throttle unit from DIY737.com. I would love to be able to control it using SimVimX

The configurator allows for an analogue input for the throttles but no output control. Is this possible?

Thanks

Hi Mark,
Yest both these functions are implemented in SimVimX.
Assign the A/T control in the [Autopilot] section of the configurator,
and the speedbrake -in the [Flight Control.

You can read here is about the speedbrake.
And here.

Hi Vlad

Thanks for this. Is there a way to control the trim wheels and trim needles?

For the trim I’m using a stepper (but could convert to a servo) and for the trim wheels I’m thinking of using a relay output to control a dc motor. I can connect the Motor circuit through a N/O contact so I can use a powerful motor

is this possible?
Hi Vlad,

As far as I can see, the configurator under A/T and output seems to only support controlling steppers. Is there any way to connect servos as well, or am I missing something?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Best regards,
Sascha
Hi Sasha,
It's error, I have added the servo in the configurator, you can try.

Hi Vlad,

Thank you very much! I will try it as soon as possible. First, I have to build my throttle. :)

Best regards,
Sascha

Hi Vlad,

I quickly checked, but unfortunately, under the servos in A/T (Output), nothing is selectable yet. With the steppers, I have the options "AT Motor," "AT1 Motor," and "AT2 Motor." However, when I open the servo section, I don’t get any options that I can assign. Maybe I misunderstood the concept.

Best regards,
Sascha
Probably, you need to clear the browser cache (refresh the page by pressing Ctrl+F5).
